WWN Effective Parenting: Help with Discipline and Child Rearing

Dr. Kazdin is back by popular demand! The presentation will focus on common challenges of raising children and how to address them. Alan Kazdin, Ph.D., will discuss the Yale Parenting Center’s research on parenting and child rearing from the past decade, and what they have learned that can make a practical difference in the home, at school, and in everyday life. Key concepts and techniques will be presented and illustrated to convey how they work and provide guidelines of what to do when they fail.

Target age groups for the topic: Parents and caregivers of child in preschool and elementary school
