Event Recap - Art Talk Tuesday

On January 11, ~18 attendees from the WWN community gathered at the Yale Art Gallery to learn about varies pieces of art that were on display.

Here are a few highlights of the tour:

• The exhibition titled “It was a New Century: Reflections on Modern America”, was a collection of 60 paintings by 6 artists
• The paintings consisted of boxing matches viewed by spectators who dressed in their top hats and suits, that appeared to be so engaged in the event it made you feel as if you were there
• 2 portraits captured the expressions of performers before they finished putting on makeup for their shows

All of these things brought together a learning experience that attendees could take with them to share as an excellent conversation piece.
