The Dead Shall be Raised at the Grove Street Cemetery. Incorporated in October 1797, Grove Street Cemetery is the first private nonprofit cemetery in the world. For over 200 years it has been the final resting place to scholars, artists, scientists, soldiers, inventors, politicians, businessman and regular citizens alike. Tour the ground and learn about the inhabitants and the history of this national historic landmark.
