Nikki Giovanni, world-renowned poet and educator, addressed the Yale and New Haven community on January 23, as part of Yale’s commemoration of the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. In addition to her remarks, Giovanni answered questions from the audience and recited a number of poems.
