WWN Welcomes Two New Co-Chairs: Stacey Tuttle

December 31, 2017

Stacey Tuttle serves Yale as an Assistant Director of Admissions. She is involved with the Working Women’s Network (WWN) affinity group, having worked on numerous committees in the past year. When she wants to relax, Stacey enjoys traveling, spending time with her dogs and husband and exploring local breweries and wineries. She will be working with Konstantza Popova as they will both serve as co-chairs. Congratulations to Stacey Tuttle.

What are your main responsibilities?

As the Assistant Director of Admissions, I assist with all things admissions for the Masters of Public Health program at the Yale School of Public Health. My main responsibilities involve speaking with prospective students about our programs, such as by organizing visits to the school and hosting larger information sessions, traveling for various recruitment events across the country, managing our admissions communications platforms, and assisting with the management of the application review process.

What do you like most about your work?

I love my job because it connects my passions for public health and student services. In addition, I get to see our students grow as they move through the program; from the time they are interested in public health; to their time at our school when they pursue their coursework, internships and capstone experiences; to graduation and beyond when they pursue fabulous public health careers. It definitely makes the job worth it, to know our students are out there making a difference.

What is your favorite food?

Pasta! I’m Italian, so pasta dishes are always a must.

Why did you take on the co-chair role?

I became a co-chair of the WWN in order to give back to a group that has given so much to me.  Joining the WWN has given me the opportunity to become more involved with events and programs on campus, to acquaint myself with new people and places at Yale, and to further improve myself both personally and professionally.  I now know a network of women in the WWN who share my same passion for advocacy, resources and programming that address the needs of working women at Yale.  As co-chair of the WWN, I am proud to continue working toward our mission so that other women like myself have the opportunity to pursue their professional and personal goals while also becoming more involved in the greater Yale community.
