The Yale Figure Skating Club runs ice skating sessions annually from September through March at Ingalls Rink, located on the corner of Prospect and Sachem Streets in New Haven, CT. The Club is a member of the United Skates Figure Skating Association (USFSA) and runs Learn to Skate group classes for beginning skaters ages 3 through adult and practice sessions for more advanced skaters.
The Learn to Skate program provides beginning skaters with the fundamentals of ice skating while building confidence and skills. Our practice sessions provide time for more advanced skaters to practice their skills, work with a coach or prepare for their next program or competition.
Registration takes place before fall and winter/spring sessions, but skaters can join the club and sign up for lessons on a prorated basis. We always welcome new members and run a purchase-buyback program for figures skates and skating gear.
