The coming of spring marks the return of one of the city’s longstanding culinary traditions, New Haven Restaurant Week, to be held March 22–27.
The twice-a-year celebration of the city’s cuisine culture offers diners an opportunity to enjoy discounted menus at some of the city’s most celebrated eateries.
Thirty-two New Haven restaurants will offer special three-course, prix fixe menus for both lunch and dinner. The menus include an appetizer, entrée, and dessert for lunch ($18 per person) and dinner ($32 per person). Prices do not include beverages, tax, or gratuity (some restrictions may apply). Regular menus will also be offered in addition to the limited-time prix fixe options. It is strongly recommended that guests make reservations in advance.
“New Haven Restaurant Week will once again showcase New Haven’s well-rounded, diverse, and thriving culinary scene,” Mayor Toni N. Harp said. “This week-long extravaganza, a celebration of excellent cuisine, attracts more visitors each year, which magnifies the event’s success. New Haven Restaurant Week also drives a more broad-based economic boom for the city, so we encourage people to discover a new eatery or re-visit a favorite spot each day.”
