Katie Bell

Co-Chair, Advocacy

Kathryn Bell is Deputy Director of the Yale Center for International and Professional Experience (CIPE), where she is involved with strategic planning for and coordination of the various university offices administering international programs for undergraduate students. Kathryn is also Director of the Yale Visiting International Student Program (Y-VISP), a program that invites high-achieving students from Yale’s partner institutions to study at Yale for an academic year. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY-Buffalo in Art and her Master of Arts from Columbia University in Higher Education Administration, with a focus on International Education. Kathryn was one of the founders of WWN, and served as co-chair of the organization from its inception in 2013. In 2016, she stepped down as co-chair, and became part of WWN’s Advocacy Team, in order to more closely examine and advocate for policy improvements that positively impact women who work at Yale.

Pamela Bloomfield

Previous Co-Chair, Mentoring Program

Pamela received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and an MA. Ed. degree while on staff at YSM Development Office. With a background in teaching, Pamela has always been passionate about mentoring students to be aware of resources that will drive them to invigorating experiences in their personal and professional careers. As a result, she became involved with the WWN mentoring program. Pamela is currently on staff in the Student Affairs Office at Yale Divinity School as the Student Services Coordinator offering advise to students on the various resources available to them. She also helps student community groups in planning campus events. Her hobbies include traveling, spending time with her family, and compiling her first book.

Melissa Goodall

Previous Co-Chair, Mentoring Program

Melissa’s work in the Yale Office of Sustainability is aimed at cultivating local solutions to global challenges. Much of her focus is on developing and implementing sustainability action plans for key academic and administrative units throughout the university. She is also responsible for select strategic partnerships and outreach to support Yale’s international sustainability leadership. In 2015 Melissa earned her doctoral degree at Antioch University New England, where the topic of her dissertation is the role that higher education instructions can play in advancing more robust solutions to governing the global commons. She is a New Haven native, and she and her husband are raising their two girls and two dogs in the East Rock neighborhood. After the experience of being a fulltime mom, fulltime employee, and fulltime student, Melissa joined WWN to help empower other women to strike that work-life balance that we all dream about.

Marinda Monfilston

Previous Co-Chair, Recognition Award

Marinda received her B.A. in Psychology from Georgia State University, and a dual Master’s Degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology and Community Psychology from the University of New Haven. As part of the Office of Diversity & Inclusion, she has the pleasure of working very closely with Yale’s 8 affinity groups. Marinda is passionate about professional development, career advancement, mentoring, community outreach, and advocating for women of color. In her spare time, Marinda enjoys traveling, belly dancing, zumba, and watching movies.

Emmanuelle Delmas-Glass

Previous Co-Chair, Recognition; Newsletter Editor

Emmanuelle is currently the Collections Information Manager at the Yale Center for British Art, where she started working in 2006 as the Collections Catalog Specialist. In her current role, she oversees the creation of and access to the museum’s collections data.  She plays the lead role in ensuring its intellectual and technical integrity. She identifies and implements new data standards and technologies to disseminate to as wide an audience as possible as well as to support the scholarly mission of the Center. She previously worked at the Williams College Museum of Art and the Louvre Museum. She has a Master’s of Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University. She became involved with WWN in 2013 because of her interest in women’s rights. When she is not visiting museums, Emmanuelle enjoys relaxing in nature with her family.

Adrienne Lucas

Previous Co-Chair, Career Development

As the Associate Director of Student Affairs at Yale Law School, Adrienne oversees student-run conferences, manages office communications, and assists with new student orientation. When she moved to New Haven from New York City, Adrienne wanted to find ways to volunteer at Yale and its surrounding community.  Adrienne chose to join WWN as the Career Development Committee Co-Chair to create programming which will inspire women and help them excel at their careers. In her free time, Adrienne enjoys singing, international travel, and attending live comedy shows. She received her Juris Doctorate from NYU Law.

Dolores Grillo

Previous Co-Chair, Career Development

Dolores has been at Yale SOM and with the MBA for Executives program since 2008. In her role as Associate Director, she executes all aspects of program development, management, and delivery for mid-career professionals pursuing an MBA. Her passion for women’s issues as they relate to the workplace was the motivating factor in her decision to join WWN. A recent member to the group, Dolores has worked with the Career Development Committee to help provide topics of interest to women in the Yale community. When she isn’t working, she Dolores enjoys travel, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family. In addition, she loves the outdoors, in particular, kayaking. She received her MBA from the University of New Haven.

Stacey Tuttle

Previous Co-Chair, Communications

Stacey Tuttle received her BS in Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience from Yale College. Her passion for public health and research initially lead to her work as a data analyst for a healthcare consulting firm. She has since returned to Yale as the Assistant Director of Admissions at the School of Public Health, where she enjoys connecting students with public health degree programs and watching them go on to wonderful public health careers. Stacey has a strong interest in health education and health promotion, particularly around women’s health, which is why she initially became interested in the WWN. She assisted with data collection and volunteer outreach before gradually moving into a co-chair role with the communications team.  For two years, she enjoyed managing the WWN website, drafting the monthly newsletter and designing posters for events. In her spare time, Stacey is finishing up her Master of Public Health degree.  She also enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and her dogs, and exploring local breweries and wineries.

Nikitia Tillman

Previous Co-Chair, Communications

Nikitia started her career here at Yale University back in 1998. Nikitia has provided support for the Associate Dean for Research Affairs at the Graduate School of Nursing, the Yale Medical School, supporting the Human Investigation Committee. She has spent the last 14 years at the Yale Law School, in the Office of Alumni Affairs, the Career Development Office, and is currently working int he Yale Law School Business Office as a Financial Assistant. As a single Mom of a son, currently a college Sophomore at Howard University, her primary WWN interests are work-life balance, equal pay, and quality education for school-aged children.

McKenzie Granata

Secretary

McKenzie started at Yale in 2013 and joined the Working Women’s Network in an effort to make positive contributions and be more engaged in the Yale community as a whole.  She enjoys volunteering and attending various WWN events, working on DIY projects at home, spending time with family and pets, reading, hiking, working in the yard, and listening to music.

Kristen Plock

Co-Chair, Yale Family Network

Kristen holds Bachelor’s degrees in Mass Communications and Spanish from Quinnipiac University. At Yale, as Senior Research Analyst for the Yale School of Medicine Office of Alumni Affairs and Development, Kristen supports the work of the YSM’s development officers as they fundraise for the school’s research, programs and initiatives. A former journalist, early in her career Kristen worked for a local newspaper, for Connecticut Parent Magazine, and for two magazines covering the tennis industry. Outside of work, Kristen enjoys crafting, traveling, participating in local community service groups and initiatives, and playing board games and having living room dance parties with her family. Kristen is excited to chair the Yale Family Network and thinks it is an amazing resource for Yale staff and their families, and she looks forward to helping her colleagues across the university find ways to attain their ideal work-life balance and discover the resources and support the university can provide.

Nandi Cummings

WWN Co-Chair, previous Co-Chair Yale Family Network

Nandi Cummings has been at Yale for almost 10 years.  She recently earned her MS in Organizational Leadership from Albertus Magnus College. She formerly worked for the Office of Federal Relations, and is now the Senior Administrative Assistant for the Yale Center for the Study of Race, Indigeneity and Transnational Migration.

Nandi is the mother of one human child and three doggie children, she enjoys Netflix, Sci-Fi programming, going to the movies with her husband and son and gardening.

When asked to be a co-chair of YFN, Nandi thought of it as an opportunity to explore and learn more about resources for all families of the Yale Community.

Stacey Bonet

Co-Chair, Yale Family Network

Stacey is a life-long resident of Connecticut with deep roots in New Haven. She has worked as a communications assistant in the Office of Public Affairs & Communications for the past 5 years. Prior to working at Yale, Stacey had a decade-long career in radio as a producer and audio editor. She also worked for three years in marketing communications and consulting. She has a Master’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Science of Journalism. Stacey is also a wife and mother of two amazing daughters and one precocious son. Her interest in YFN began when she attended a brown bag lunch that changed her outlook on her busy life. She hopes by co-chairing this group she will be able to “pay it forward” and help others.

Ronice Awudu

Previous Co-Chair, Yale Family Network

Ronice received her M.S. in Business Management from Albertus Magnus College and her B.S. in Managing Interpersonal Communication from Southern CT State University. Heavily involved in her community, Ronice received the New Haven Leadership and Human Service Award for her achievements working in multiple volunteer organizations over the past 15 years. She enjoys traveling abroad and her favorite hobbies are event planning, photography and journalism. Ronice particularly loves to manage programs centered around family events, which is why she is thoroughly enjoying her position as co-chair for the Yale Family Network.

Kathleen Gilloran

Previous Co-Chair, Yale Family Network

Kathy received her BS in Business Economics with a concentration in Accounting from Southern CT State University.  As a financial analyst in the post award department of Faculty Resource Management Services, she assists faculty and business departments with grant management, forecasting and reporting.  Kathy has a strong interest in helping others, especially families which brought about her involvement with WWN and lead to the organizing of the WWN subcommittee, the Yale Family Network.  In her spare time she enjoys her traveling with her husband, her role as Mimi to her only granddaughter and animal rescue.

Laura Kirk

Co-Chair, Work/Life and Social Events

Laura received her B.A. in Theater performance from Southern Connecticut State University. She has worked in the Arts field in CT and NY for more than 20 years. Her work is currently focused in Audience Services and ticket sales. She is also an actor and has appeared on stage, in commercials and film. Laura is a new member of the WWN and looks forward to meeting new people and hearing their stories.

Jordan Jefferson

WWN Co-Chair, Previous Co-Chair Work/Life and Social Events

Jordan earned her MLIS for the University of Washington, her J.D. from the University of La Verne College of Law, and her B.S. in Communications from the University of Evansville. As Coordinating Librarian for Reference Services at the Yale Law Library her responsibilities include managing the daily operations of the reference desk, providing research services to the Yale community, and teaching. Jordan’s interest in women’s rights, family issues, and work/life balance drew her to the WWN. When not being a law librarian she enjoys spending time with her kids, baking, reading, and geeking out over Buffy, Supernatural, Star Wars, Marvel, and Doctor Who.

Ellasandra Davis

Co-Chair, Outreach and Collaboration

Ellasandra works in Investment Accounting as the Senior Administrative Assistant for the department. Ellasandra earned her B.S. in Organizational Psychology at Albertus Magnus College in May, 2016. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Human Services also at Albertus Magnus College. Ellasandra is passionate about working within her community to help further positive change. She volunteers weekends at New Haven Reads as a reading tutor. She works with New Haven students to help them fulfill their academic potential. It was her focus on the Human Services that drew her to the WWN and more specifically, to the Outreach & Collaboration sub-committee. When she is not working, studying, or volunteering Ellasandra enjoys engaging in outdoor activities, spending time with her dogs, and traveling.

Konstantza Popova

Previous Co-Chair, Co-Chair Health and Wellness

Konstantza Popova is a Strategic Sourcing  Manager at Yale Procurement where she buys Professional Services & Consulting for the University. She has a Master’s Degree in International Business and a broad international experience with companies like IKEA and Procter & Gamble. Born and raised in Europe, a world traveler for business and pleasure who lives in the USA, she finds her exposure to many nationalities and cultures to be one of the most enriching aspects of her life. Konstantza identifies herself as a “citizen of the world”. She is passionate about women’s rights, healthy living, sustainability and emotional intelligence. The combination of those passions brought her to WWN where she initiated and lead WWN Health Series. Konstantza spends a lot of her time with her daughter Sophia, but she also enjoys speedy walks alongside the beach, yoga, singing, dancing and writing. Cheese, wine and chocolate complete the picture.

Cindy Bensley

Co-Chair, Health and Wellness

Cindy Bensley received her BA in Psychology followed by her BS in Nursing from NYU School of Nursing. She has been a critical care nurse for over 20 years at NY Presbyterian Hospital / Cornell Medical Center in NYC. She came to the Yale Medical School almost four years ago as a Clinical Research Nurse in Thoracic Oncology and works with the entire team including thoracic surgeons, medical oncologists and pulmonologists. Cindy has a strong interest in cancer prevention, especially in the area of lung cancer. She became interested in getting more involved with the WWN Health Series after attending a health presentation earlier this year. When not at work Cindy enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and two dogs and she also loves gardening.

Melanie Elliot

Co-Chair, Health and Wellness

Melanie Elliot has worked at Yale for almost 23 years in various Student Services and Human Resources roles. Melanie received her M.A. in Higher Education from Boston College (a long time ago!) and really enjoys working with the students at Yale. In her current role, she oversees the day-to-day operation of the PhD and MS program in the Public Health program. The 90 plus students in these programs keep her busy and she enjoys acting as their “Yale Mom.” In her free time, she is training for her third half marathon and enjoys spending time on the shoreline with her family and friends.

Ricarda Tomlin

Advertisement Design and Management

Ricarda has been at Yale since 1997, and is currently the Manager of Clinical Research in the section of Transplant Surgery, supporting clinical, translational and outcomes research with liver and kidney transplant patients and living organ donors. Prior to joining the Transplant team, Ricarda worked in the department of Pediatrics on research regarding social-emotional learning and sex education in local school districts. She received her B.S. in Psychology from the FernUni Hagen in Germany. After attending many of the wonderful WWN events, Ricarda decided it was time to pitch in and recently joined the WWN’s communications team to design posters for events. When not at work, Ricarda enjoys time with her husband and daughters, hiking, reading, cooking, and traveling.
