Cupcake Bake-Off Competition!

Do you have amazing baking skills? Do people ask you to bring a certain dessert to every event that you go to? Please join the WWN for the first Cupcake Bake-Off Competition and show your talent. To participate you will need to bring in 10-12 cupcakes and the recipe. The judges will taste each one submitted and pick the best one. The winner gets some cool WWN swag and bragging rights in the May Newsletter. So, grab those measuring cups and ingredients.

Human beings are built to reflect each other’s emotions. When our children display intense feelings and behaviors, our brains naturally reflect those. We start to feel stressed, angry, fearful, or overwhelmed just like our kids. You will learn practical strategies to be a calm center for your child’s emotional world.

Please join Yale SOM’s Women in Management Club as we welcome three Yale and SOM alumnae to discuss their extensive backgrounds in the financial services industry: Diana Wagner ’95) from Capital Group, Jamila Abston ’17) from Ernst & Young, and Renee Greene ’21) from Goldman Sachs. The conversation will be moderated by SOM faculty members Alex Zentefis and Heather Tookes and will explore topics surrounding how to think about and navigate diversity, equity, and inclusion in finance.

Have you ever wondered what life as a Radio City Rockette is like? Come hear our very own Jennifer Harrison Newman, Associate Artistic Director at the Schwarzman Center, share her experience and stories as a Rockette. Come with questions and be ready to dance! (No experience kicking eye-high required).
