Virtual: WWN Presents-Writing an Effective Recommendation

Join the Working Women’s Network and Beth Luoma for a workshop on writing an effective recommendation. Writing a recommendation is an opportunity to both highlight the excellence of others and to reflect on your professional values. This interactive workshop will explore areas to consider when writing an effective recommendation, including goals, audience, format, word choice, and awareness of bias, as well as ideas to enhance your personal organization and efficiency when writing multiple recommendations. Participants will have the opportunity to actively develop ideas for a real or theoretical recommendation during the session.
