On March 8th, all eight affinity groups and WorkLife and Childcare celebrated our first in-person International Women’s Day Celebration since 2020, and our largest, with 13 locations represented around campus! We handed out flowers and put smiles on many people’s faces. Because of your support, we were able to raise $1,245 for the Connecticut Women’s Education and Legal Fund (CWEALF)!
Thank you to all our volunteers, planning committee members, and special guests (Handsome Dan XIX and Heidi, the Yale Public Safety service dog), for making March 8th a memorable celebration of the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women - while also marking a call to action for accelerating gender equality.
