On Tuesday, March 5th, Yale’s 9 affinity groups celebrated International Women’s Day for the 8th year. Despite being a rainy day, we handed out flowers and put smiles on many people’s faces at our 8 locations across campus. Because of your support, we were able to raise $603 for Phenomenal I Am, Inc.! Thank you to all our volunteers and planning committee members for making March 5th a memorable celebration of the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women - while also marking a call to action for accelerating gender equality. Also, a very special thank you Devon Riley for creating a memorable photo campaign in support of this year’s theme: #InspireInclusion.
