Caring for Loved Ones Discussion Group

Each one of us brings our own experiences and wisdom to caregiving. Today, we can pool our knowledge, recognize the similarities and differences in our experiences and share strategies that can be useful in coping with caregiving of our loved ones. This discussion group will be led by Laura Kaplan, LCSW.

Working Parents & Guardians Discussion Group

Join Nancy Close, PhD, clinical director, Parent and Family Development Program, Yale Child Study Center for an hour-long Zoom discussion about the challenges of working from home while caring for young children. This is an opportunity for parents and guardians to share their stories and hear from others in the same position.

Parenting Check-In

Join the Working Women’s Network and Yale Veterans Network for our monthly parenting check-in the second Wednesday of every month from 1:30-2:30 pm via Zoom. The check-ins serve as an opportunity for Yale community parents to check-in, share tips and tricks and concerns about our new normal of being parent(s), continued work responsibilities, and now the additional responsibility of homeschooling and managing the nuances of having babies and toddlers at home instead of daycare. The conversations are a safe space for us to positively communicate and learn and grow from each other.
