Have you ever found yourself in the middle of a change you weren’t expecting, wondering what to do next? If so, this is the workshop for you!
Nothing changes if nothing changes. The key is to change before you have to! Embracing change involves preparation and adjusting your mindset and your skill set to not to be overwhelmed, overly concerned, or paralyzed when change inevitably occurs.
The National Alliance On Mental Illness (NAMI) has designated September as National Suicide Prevention Month. In addition, October 6 is National Depression Screening Day which began in 1991. In recognition of these two important initiatives, learn skills to support someone experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge or crisis.
Please join Yale’s affinity groups and the National Alliance on Mental Illness for a virtual community wellness check-in. In light of recent events, such as: the Buffalo supermarket shooting, Robb Elementary School shooting, and the Supreme Court Decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, we have decided to host a safe space to check-in on the health and well-being of our Yale community.
