Virtual: WWN Color in birds: a behind-the scenes tour of Peabody Museum's ornithology collection

The bird collection in the Yale Peabody Museum is among the most comprehensive in the world, with over 150,000 data-rich specimens, representing over 7,000 species, from every continent on Earth. This behind-the-scenes tour is your chance to see specimens rarely seen by the public and the state-of-the art facilities in which they are stored. Your guide will be Dr. Kristof Zyskowski, the Ornithology Collections Manager.

Virtual: WWN Presents-Writing an Effective Recommendation

Join the Working Women’s Network and Beth Luoma for a workshop on writing an effective recommendation. Writing a recommendation is an opportunity to both highlight the excellence of others and to reflect on your professional values. This interactive workshop will explore areas to consider when writing an effective recommendation, including goals, audience, format, word choice, and awareness of bias, as well as ideas to enhance your personal organization and efficiency when writing multiple recommendations.
