Yale University, Yale Cardiovascular Medicine, and Yale New Haven Health have again joined forces as proud sponsors of the 2023 American Heart Association’s Greater New Haven Heart Walk! The Heart Walk is an opportunity to raise funds to support lifesaving research for heart disease and stroke.
Yale’s affinity groups and the New Haven Club-NANBPWC Inc are hosting a Women’s Clothing Drive through Monday, April 17th. All donations will be given to Life Haven Shelter for Women and La Casa Del Inmigrante to help support women succeed. Visit a donation location near you, or we are happy to pick up your donation. Have you ever wanted to learn how to crochet but don’t know where to start? Come join us for a hat crocheting party and learn the basics of patterns and crochet stitches. All levels of experience are welcome! Light refreshments will be served.
What to bring: any crochet hook sized between 4.5mm-6.0 mm, one skein (360 yards) of medium-weight yarn.
This talk is a unique mother/guardian and daughter presentation about the physical and emotional changes of puberty. An opportunity to open the doors of communication between daughter and adult. An informative, humorous, and comfortable approach to the changes and challenges of puberty. The workshop is recommended for girls ages 9 to 12, accompanied by their mother or guardian. Snacks and refreshments will be served.
