Crochet Night

Have you ever wanted to learn how to crochet but don’t know where to start? Come join us for a hat crocheting party and learn the basics of patterns and crochet stitches. All levels of experience are welcome! Light refreshments will be served.
What to bring: any crochet hook sized between 4.5mm-6.0 mm, one skein (360 yards) of medium-weight yarn.

What Every Girl Wants to Know About Puberty

This talk is a unique mother/guardian and daughter presentation about the physical and emotional changes of puberty. An opportunity to open the doors of communication between daughter and adult. An informative, humorous, and comfortable approach to the changes and challenges of puberty. The workshop is recommended for girls ages 9 to 12, accompanied by their mother or guardian. Snacks and refreshments will be served.

International Women’s Day

Join Yale’s Affinity Groups to celebrate International Women’s Day in various locations across campus on Wednesday, March 8th, from 11:30 am– 1:30 pm. Stop by a location near you to get a flower for yourself, or someone you know, to celebrate International Women’s Day. Suggested donation of $1 per flower is welcomed, while supplies last, to benefit the Connecticut Women Education and Legal Fund (CWEALF).
